Emma Homco, MSW/LSW

Therapist

Christian Family Counseling Center

I am a person-centered, trauma-informed therapist specializing in the treatment of children, young adults, and adults who are navigating the lasting impacts of trauma, life transitions, and emotional challenges. I am committed to fostering well-being and facilitating personal growth through a collaborative faith and strengths-based framework.

I believe that meaningful change develops from genuine connection rather than solely correction. Through a compassionate, collaborative approach, I help clients gain insight, restore confidence, and foster emotional resilience. My clinical approach incorporates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and play-based or expressive therapies, which I adapt to meet the individual needs of each client. Together we implement practical coping tools, strengthen support networks, and address barriers to promote growth and well-being.

I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Southeastern University and five years of experience in school-based mental health, case management, and the non-profit sector. I feel deeply honored to journey with courageous individuals as they embrace healing and wholeness.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll often find me immersed in a good book, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, taking mindful walks while wearing my weighted vest, or enjoying conversation over coffee with family and friends.
