Hi!

My name is Bry and I am here to create a safe and supportive space for you. My goal is to empower you to experience long-term growth, utilizing strength-focused, trauma-informed, and evidence-based therapy. The main clinical areas I treat are depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, school challenges, family and interpersonal conflict, life transitions, trauma, and stress.

My approach with children and adolescents is mainly derived from my training in Collaborative and Proactive Solutions, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and play therapy. Using these techniques, I develop an understanding of each person’s internal and external world in order to identify the earliest point of change and facilitate improved functioning in their home, school, community, and social relationships.

When working with adults, I invite you to investigate how current situations that are causing emotional distress may be connected with earlier life experiences. At your pace, we identify memories that shaped unhealthy beliefs and patterns that now negatively impact you.

Together, we will access your inner strengths, resolve past memories to reconnect you to the present moment, and enhance your personal and self-regulation skills in a calm, trusting atmosphere. I look forward to navigating a path that fits your hopes and needs while achieving goals throughout your journey!

Outside of the therapy space, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, daughter, friends and family, binge-watching true crime documentaries, staying active in my church community (Community Cup Church of the Nazarene), volunteering with Safe Families for Children Greater Chicago and relaxing with my cats, Sylvia and Walter.
